The Mastermind Aftermath

As I reflect on my Mastermind 'Next Level', which recently ended, there's something I've noticed, and wanted to share with you: 

• It didn't matter how many calls I had with my mastermind group

• It didn’t matter how boujie the venue was when we all got together 

• It didn’t matter how many free courses I gave them access to, to give further support - or extra templates I added to the client portal

What really mattered was… who’s in the room. 

Over the years, I've been in loads of spaces that looked great online, but in all honesty, the group wasn't really aligned in 'real time'. People were holding back, or worse, competing with each other, so it was all very short lived - unlike what happened with my group of ladies that met for the first time inside the Next Level mastermind...

and I really think it comes down to this: a mastermind isn’t about theory.

A mastermind is about tangible growth, faster momentum, and real results that come from being surrounded and supported by the right people.

🎉 Like Rebecca, who through the mastermind transitioned online, and launched her new mentoring business - and has since collaborated with fellow masterminder, Angela.

🎉 Like Angela, who integrated mentoring into her training academy to further support her students and grow her academy - and also flew from Glasgow to Manchester to deliver team training at Emma's salon, a fellow masterminder.

🎉 Like Emma, who after 20 years finally decided to down her tools and turn her knowledge into hybrid courses.

🎉 Like Karen, who has turned part of her salon/training academy into a content studio for her students (inspired by coming to mine for a free personal brand photoshoot!).

In short: It’s the place where the room becomes full of opportunities, and collabs happen before the Mastermind ends, and will out-live.

So no, a mastermind isn't just about the strategy, the guidance and the high-level coaching - it's about the people you’ll leave with in your corner.

People who open doors for you.
People who will root for you.
People who will stay in your world (way after the mastermind finishes).

Because I'm afraid in a salon environment, opportunities don’t come from working harder or longer...

They come from getting in the room with the right people at the right time.
